Besan cheela is one of the quick breakfast or brunch or evening snack one can make
Ingredient Quantity
Besan 1½ cup
Green chilli, ginger, garlic paste 1 tsp
Asafetida (Hing) a pinch
Ajwain ¼ tsp
Cumin seeds 1tsp
Red chilli powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Water As required
Salt To taste
Coriander chopped 2 tbsp
Tomato chopped 1 no.
Coriander chopped 1 tbsp
Oil For cooking
Method:
- In a bowl add besan, salt, green chilli, ginger garlic paste, hing, turmeric powder, cumin seeds. Add water and Wisk to make a batter.
- Add carom seeds and mix well.
- Heat a pan add a ladle full of batter and spread evenly.
- Add chopped tomatoes and coriander on top.
- Drizzle oil on sides and cook on both sides.
- With a spoon fold the besan chilla and serve hot.
