Recipe Description

This Parantha reminds me when my mother would make this for me for tiffins in school and I am sure everyone of us must have got this as tiffins for schools.

Ingredients

  • Whole wheat flour – 5cups
  • Brown Sugar – 1 cup
  • Cinnamon Powder – 1tbsp
  • Ghee – 1cup

Method

  1. Take a bowl, add flour water and make a soft dough
  2. Now divide the dough into equal parts
  3. Roll the dough into a round chapatti and spread the brown sugar . Sprinkle some cinnamon powder. Now fold from one side and apply ghee on top then place the other side and again apply the ghee. Then fold the rest two side by applying ghee like square shape
  4. Now roll the dough back into a parantha
  5. Heat the tawa and place the parantha on it.
  6. Cook the parantha from both the sides and cook until golden brown from both the sides applying little ghee.
