Recipe Description
- Broken wheat (Dalia), soaked – 1 1/2 cups
- Bean sprouts – 1 cup
- Oil – 2 tbsp
- Bay leaves – 2 no
- Cinnamon sticks – 2 no
- Cloves – 4 no
- Black peppercorns – 10-12 no
- Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
- Onions, finely sliced – 2 no
- Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
- turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
- green peas – 1/2 cup
- mint leaves – 8-10 no
- ghee – 2 tbsp
Method:-
- Heat oil in a non stick kadai.
- Add bay leaves, cinnamon, cloves, black peppercorns, cumin seeds and sauté till fragrant.
- Add onions and sauté till translucent.
- Add Dalia, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well. Add green peas, mint leaves and mix well.
- Cover and allow cooking for some time.
- Add bean sprouts and ghee and mix well.
- Transfer into a serving bowl and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
- Serve hot.
